Potrera saddle Monturas Lucas "Ellen"

Monturas Lucas stands for quality at the highest level. These saddles have been manufactured for Iberian horses for decades (since 1934).
The "Ellen" model has a flexible saddle tree and the gullet plate is also very short, giving the horse excellent shoulder freedom.
This saddle corresponds to a Portuguese saddle in terms of the galleries, only with longer and round saddle flaps.
A good alternative for riders who like the fit of the Portuguesa saddle, but whose individual leg length causes them to tilt, e.g. with the boot shaft, on the shorter saddle flap of the Portuguesa.

The flexible saddle tree is characterized by a centrally elastic steel spring tree, which adapts to the movements of the horse's back at all times and always returns to its original shape (no permanent deformation).

The flexibility of this saddle tree allows the horse to arch its back particularly well during riding, so that horses run very loosely and willingly with these saddles.
In addition, the rider sits very securely, framed by the galleries.
The flexible saddle tree gives the rider extra comfort when sitting out.
This saddle is supplied with lambskin gullet, stirrup leathers, crupper, girth and the traditional iron stirrup bars.

We are making this saddle available as a test saddle in brown with a chamber width of 32 cm and a seat size of 34 cm.
This saddle has a length of 50 cm with a seat size of 34, spinal canal width approx. 7 cm.

This model is available in black, light brown and dark brown.
The normal seat sizes are 34 or 36 cm (seat length measured between the galleries).
